Central Record Bureau
The Central Record Bureau, or Central Identification Bureau, was developed in South Vietnam between 1955 and 1958 with significant assistance from the Michigan State University Group. It was an effort to modernize the country’s identification records and system after years of war left these records incomplete and damaged.
